Elubo/Amala (also called yam flour) is made from dried yam cut into small pieces and then grinded into a smooth brown flour. The Elubo flour is used in preparing amala making a mash meal and eaten much like the way mash potato is eaten with various types of soup such as vegetable or egusi soup.
